Jenks Community Education was designed to provide unique opportunities for you to become involved in our school by participating in life-long learning. Over 300 classes are offered each year on the Jenks Public Schools campuses. Jenks Community Education contracts with instructors to present information in various areas of expertise. If your learning involves hobbies, arts and crafts, business, dancing, or other interests, the Jenks Community Education works to meet those needs.

The variety of classes offered is a result of community input. Have class ideas, information, want to teach? Call the Community Education Office at 918/298-0340. The success of the collaboration between the school and the community is evidenced through the number of citizens who participate in Jenks Community Education programs. Its continued success is dependent upon your willingness to continue voicing opinions and ideas to make the program better.

REMEMBER - If you wish to withdraw, the Community Education office must receive notification before the class meets. No refunds are given once a class has begun. Registration in a class represents a commitment and instructors are hired on the basis of the number of people registered.

If Jenks Public Schools is closed for inclement weather, Community Education classes will be canceled. Please listen to local radio stations or watch TV news for cancellation announcements. Instructors will contact their students when classes will be rescheduled.
