Welcome to Jenks Community Education’s
new website! This web site is designed to provide residents
and non-residents a list of our community classes and also
provide the availability of enrolling into classes online!
The success of the collaboration between the school and the
community is evidenced through the number of citizens who
participate in our program here at Community Education.
Through the years, Community Education has become an
important part of the school system and the community. Its
continued success is dependent upon your willingness to
continue voicing opinions and ideas to make the program
better. Over 300 classes are offered each year on the JPS
public school campus. The Community Education program
contracts with instructors to present information in various
areas of expertise.
The Jenks Community Education program was designed to
provide unique opportunities for you to become involved in
our school by participating in lifelong learning. If your
learning involves hobbies, arts and crafts, business,
dancing, or other interests, the program meets those needs.
The variety of classes offered is a result of community
input. Class Ideas, Information, Want to Teach? Call the
Community Education Office – 299-4415 x2247.
If school is not in session, Community Education classes
will not be held unless specifically noted. Please listen to
local radio stations or watch TV news for details.
Non-residents are welcome to enroll in classes.
REMEMBER – No news is good news! If a class is cancelled,
you will receive a full refund. If you wish to withdraw, the
Community Education office must receive notification before
the class meets. No refunds are given once a class has
begun. Registration in a class represents a commitment and
instructors are hired on the basis of the number of people
registered.
The #1 thing you need to know: YOU WILL ENJOY YOUR JENKS
COMMUNITY EDUCATION CLASS!
